Gina graduated Springfield College in Massachusetts in 1992 with a BS degree in Exercise Science. In 1999, Gina graduated from Volunteer State Community College with an Associate of Applied Science / Physical Therapist Assistant degree. Since graduating, she has been employed as a licensed PTA working in rehabilitative, home health, acute care and outpatient settings. Under the direction of each Physical Therapist, she provides treatment per plan of care, progresses patients and assists with restoring function, increasing range of motion, and improving strength to those who have experienced injury, disease or a debilitating inllness. Gina has extensive experience with therapeutic exercise, strengthening, conditioning, and endurance for the return to sports athlete or post-op orthopedic patient. In addition, she is skilled in manual therapy, functional activities, soft tissue massage, John F. Barnes’ Myofascial release, cupping, modalities, gait training, and patient education. She has maintained her professional development and continued education as required by the Tennessee Board of Physical Therapy.
