Stephanie graduated from David Lipscomb University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing / Management.  She received her Associate of Applied Science / Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Volunteer State Community College in 2011.  Stephanie was employed following graduation, as a licensed PTA in an orthopedic outpatient clinic. Working under the direction of physical therapists, she provides treatment and progresses patients per plan of care to those who have experienced injury or a debilitating disease.  Stephanie is skilled in performing therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, functional activities, strengthening, myofascial release, modalities, gait training and patient education. Since graduation, she has maintained her professional development and continued education as required by the Tennessee Board of Physical Therapy.  Courses that she has taken and incorporates into her method of treatment include: Part A, B, C – The McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, lumbar, cervical, thoracic spine and lower limb, the John F Barnes’ Myofascial Release –Lumbar/Pelvis, Kinesiotaping, Rebuilding the Complete Athlete, Maitland Approach, and Cupping.
