TEMPOROMANDIBULAR JOINT DYSFUNCTION (TMJ – JAW)

Balancing the muscle and connective tissue that attaches to the lower part of the jaw and normal joint motion is important for normal tracking of your TMJ joints. Problems often arise after needing to keep your mouth open for extended periods of time such as extensive dental work, whiplash injuries, chronically chewing on one side of the mouth, osteoarthritis of the jaw, or upper cervical (neck) dysfunction. Using our manual therapy techniques we can restore balance to the tissues and joints and stabilize posture.
